Among the most prolific scorers in Clarkson’s history, Juana Baribeau has played a leading role in the success of the Green and Gold over the past four years. Through a 147 career games entering the ECAC Hockey playoffs, the talented forward has amassed 118 career points on 62 goals and 56 assists as the Golden Knights’ third all-time leading scorer. Baribeau is just six goals shy of setting the all-time goal-scoring record at Clarkson. The Amos, Quebec native scored what many consider the most memorable goal in the program’s history when she connected on a rising shot from center ice in Clarkson’s 2010 NCAA Tournament game at the University of Minnesota, which tied the score against the Gophers with just 1:44 remaining in regulation. Baribeau will look to get another chance to shine in the NCAA Tournament as Clarkson strives to achieve postseason success in 2012. The Knights enter the league playoffs as the third seed in the ECAC Tournament with a 15-5-2 conference slate. Winners of seven of its last eight games to close out the regular season, Clarkson stands at 21-8-5 overall prior to its quarterfinal matchup with Quinnipiac this weekend.
