Seven student-athletes from the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse, and Golf team were rewarded for their excellence in athletics and in the classroom as the 2025-26 College Sports Communicator Academic All-District At-Large teams were announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Selections must have a 3.50 grade-point average or better with at least sophomore athletic and academic standing to be considered. Additionally, nominees must compete in at least 90% of athletic competitions, or start 66% of a program's games. The At-Large selections come from a variety of sports that are not universally offered across the country.

On the men's side, Tyler Yacawych of the Clarkson University Golf team was selected, while Dylan Coan and Griffin Emerson of the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team were chosen. On the women's side, Maeve Bartell, Gabby Cranfield, Riley Donovan, and Sydney Nakas of the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team earned the honor.

Tyler Yacawych, a Mechanical Engineering major, averaged 76.14 strokes per 18 holes in his sophomore season, saving his best performance of the year for the Liberty League Championships, where he finished in a tie for eighth at the tournament.

Dylan Coan, a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering who earned the honor in 2025 as well, ranked second on the team in caused turnovers with 18 while also adding 28 groundballs in 14 starts during the 2026 season.

Griffin Emerson, who majored in Global Supply Chain Management and completed his MBA in his fourth year at Clarkson, was an All-American goalkeeper for the Knights in 2026, ranking among the national leaders in goals against average (9.18) and save percentage (.597).

Maeve Bartell, a double major in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, started all 18 games on defense for the Golden Knights, placing third on the team in groundballs with 26 and also ranking among the team leaders with 14 caused turnovers.

Gabby Cranfield, a junior majoring in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, led the Liberty League in assists per game (2.89) and challenged Clarkson's single-season record for points with 88, scoring 36 goals with 52 assists for a total of 88 points.

Riley Donovan, a junior with a double major in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, was the team's starting goalkeeper in her third season, playing just under 800 minutes in 17 games, posting a .416 save percentage and 11.39 goals against average.
