Clarkson's Spoth Named Liberty League All-Star

Junior Eric Spoth of the Clarkson University Golf team earned Liberty League All-Star honors for the second time in as many years when the conference announced its end-of-year award winners and all-stars on Thursday afternoon.

Spoth was voted as a Liberty League Honorable Mention All-Star for the second time thanks to a scoring average of 75.68 strokes per 18 holes over the course of 22 competitive rounds in the 2025-26 season. The junior has shed strokes from his scoring average during his collegiate career, going from 76.31 in 2023-24 to 75.95 in 2024-25 and down to 75.68 this past season.

Spoth had three top-five finishes in tournament play in the fall of 2025, all of which came in two-day invitationals. He shot below 80 in 19 of his 22 rounds and was at 75 strokes or less on 13 occasions.
