Ballston Spa, N.Y. - Improving on a lackluster opening round on Saturday, the Clarkson University Golf team would close out the Tim Brown Invitational, held at the par-71 Ballston Spa Golf Course. The team will return to the links next weekend for the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational at the Bethpage State Park Golf Course (Red Course) on April 18th and 19th. 

The Golden Knights rebounded from their worst round of the year on Saturday to finish 15th overall out of 17 teams on day two with a score of 303 on the day and 634 for the weekend. Just factoring in the scores from day two would have placed Clarkson in the 10 spot out of the field. 

Tyler Yacawych would finish one over par on the day, shooting a 72 going out and coming back in with an identical 36. Three of his four birdies through the round came on the back nine as the sophomore finished 52nd overall. Eric Spoth would close out the day close behind with a 73 (+2), following a front nine 37 with a back nine 36, finishing in 46th overall with three birdies. Bryan Secor found his footing on day two finishing 82nd with a 76 (+5) round that included a 37 on the back nine. 

Joseph Tiderencel closed out the counted scorecards with a round of 82 (+11). The junior struggled a bit to start on the back nine, finishing with a 45, before producing a two-over 37 on the front with birdies on holes four and nine. Luke Weisiger rounded out the Golden Knights in the field with a non-counted round of 85 (+14) that included a 39 on the front nine.
