After two decades, gone is the Cross Country-Only Championships that the Clarkson University Cross Country team had so dominated with numerous individual winners and team titles, but Hobart and William Smith Colleges continue to host a mid-October race, now named the Warner-Fleury Invitational, which will be run at Seneca Lake State Park on Saturday.

Live Results

The Men: Drew Reigelsperger has won on this course each of the last two years, taking the top spot by 24 seconds last year in 26:06.6 in the field of 78 runners, while his win in 2024 was out of 48 runners in 26:45.0. His first try at the course in 2023 resulted in a third-place finish (among 65 competitors) in 26:48.7. Joining Reigelsperger in the top five of the finishers a year ago were James Lynch (third, 26:37.4), Matthew Clarner (fourth, 26:44.9), and Frank Consolazio (fifth, 26:48.6). Lynch's time last year is his personal best in an 8K race, while Clarner's time was 4.8 seconds off his top performance, and Consolazio's was 10.1 seconds short of his best time.

The Women: This will be Alexandra Simon's second shot at the Seneca Lake State Park trail, as she did not compete in the CCOC run in either 2023 or 2025. Simon did finish the race as the runner-up in 2024 with a time of 25:26.6 over 6000 meters. Janneke Baks placed seventh in the event last year with a time of 26:04.6 and Skylar Francis was two-tenths of a second behind Baks, placing eighth.
