Knights Compete in Tune-Up Match Against St. Lawrence in Verona

Verona, NY – Zack Pilarchik fired a five-over par 77 on Sunday to tie for second as the Clarkson University Golf team dropped a friendly warm-up match against St. Lawrence University in advance of next weekend's Liberty League Championships at the Turning Stone Golf Course.

The Golden Knights' team registered a score of 321 while St. Lawrence's top four produced a tally of 306. Both teams will compete in the 3-day, 54-hole championship event April 29-May 1.

Pilarchik tied for second in the small field of 12 golfers with his 77, while individual Andrew Palmatier scored a 78, playing outside the team of five. Casey Ditzel had the second-best score among the top five, recording an 80. He was followed by Luke Baringer (81), Jacob Dutch (83), and Dale Turner (85).
