Mahoney Chosen Liberty League All-Star

Following an outstanding junior campaign, midfielder Giulia Mahoney of the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team earned Liberty League Second-Team All-Star honors when the conference announced its end-of-the-year awards on Tuesday morning.

Mahoney, who gained Liberty League Honorable Mention notice as a sophomore in 2017, turned in an excellent year on offense, scoring five goals and five assists for 15 points, all team-highs. Her five assists tied her for the fifth-most in program history and her 15 points are tied for 14th-most in a single-season at Clarkson.

Mahoney's name was frequently found on the conference leaderboard as she tied for seventh in shots per game (2.65 spg), tied for seventh in points per game (0.88), ranked fifth in goals per game (.294), and ranked third in assists per game (.294). Through 52 career games, Mahoney is tied for 21st all-time at Clarkson in scoring with 23 points.
