The Series: Clarkson has never beaten the Herons and the Knights have only scored seven goals ever against William Smith. However, two of those goals came a year ago in a 4-2 defeat that had the two teams tied at intermission.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-3-1, 1-1-1 Liberty League): Senior goalkeeper Kenzie Roth leads the Liberty League in saves per game (6.00) and is third in the conference in save percentage at .857. Her 42 saves through seven contests are nearly as many as last year's starting goalie Isabelle Wood (45) had in 11 contests, and Roth is currently on pace for the most total saves by a Clarkson goalie since Molly DiCaprio had 87 in 19 games in 2022.

Key Stats for William Smith (6-3-0, 2-0-0 Liberty League): The Herons have had some volume scorers in recent years, including Ruth Hotaling who had 25 points a year ago and Julia Keogh who posted an astonishing 50 points on 22 goals and six assists in 2021. So far, no player leaps off the stat page for the Herons, but five different players have scored at least twice in 2026, including team-leader Kristin Middaugh (3-0-6). The Herons have outscored opponents 5-1 in a pair of league contests.
