Rattray and Ambrose Help to Lead Canada to Meco Cup Gold

FÜSSEN, Germany – Clarkson University Women’s Hockey standouts, junior forward Jamie Lee Rattray (Kanata, ONT) and freshman defenseman Erin Ambrose (Keswick, ONT) helped to lead Canada's National Women’s Under-22/Development Team to the Gold Medal at the 2013 Meco Cup.

Rattray scored a goal and recorded three assists in the gold medal final on Sunday as Canada defeated Russia 8-3. Ambrose tallied an assist in the victory. Canada's National Women’s Under-22/Development Team won its third gold medal in four years at the Meco Cup, formerly the MLP Cup and Air Canada Cup.

Rattray finished with one goal and five assists through four games of the international tournament, while Ambrose collected three assists.
