Only a handful of tournaments remain this fall for the Clarkson University Golf team as the Golden Knights seek a third win this weekend at the Oswego State Invitational.

Live Results

The Team: Last year's group won the title of the tournament hosted by the Lakers with a score of 599, though there will be a few changes from that squad of five this time around. Returning for another go-round at the par-71 Oswego Country Club are seniors Luke Weisiger and Eric Spoth as well as junior Tyler Yacawych. Weisiger, the reigning Liberty League Performer of the Week after winning the Castleton Invitational in Rutland, shot 151 a year ago in Oswego, but enters this tournament with a score average of just 72.00, only four-over par for the year (Castleton's event was held on a par-70 course). Eric Spoth shot 150 in Oswego a year ago and was 147 as a sophomore, entering this weekend with a scoring average of 73.50 this fall. Tyler Yacawych had the low score for the Knights in 2025 at Oswego at 149 and is averaging 74.17 strokes per round this fall. Freshman Tyler Burchett has matched Weisiger with a scoring average of 72.00 per round this year and was three-under for the season through the first five rounds before a plus-7 on day two at Castleton evened him with Weisiger in the fall of 2026. Classmate Sam Schultz was tapped as the fifth entrant for the Knights this weekend. He comes in with a scoring average of 77.75 in four competitive rounds, scoring a 77 in each of his last three turns.
