For the fourth straight weekend, the Clarkson University Cross Country team is on the road for an event, this time heading to Rochester to compete for the first time in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University

The Women: The Golden Knights won't have any wiggle room for scoring as just five of the eight members will be traveling this weekend to Rochester. One of those heading down for the invitational is Alexandra Simon, who had a solid return to competition last weekend at the Hoffmann Invitational hosted by SLU. Simon finished the event in 26:18.1, just 14 seconds off her pace of two years ago when she last ran that course. Skylar Francis was next for the Knights, about 20 seconds after Simon, and also faster than her previous two times on the course.

The Men: Not every member of the men's roster is competing this weekend, but there will still be 15 runners entered in the Harry F. Anderson Invite. Four of Clarkson's top five from last weekend will head to Rochester, including Liberty League Performer of the Week Drew Reigelsperger. The senior finished seventh out of 121 runners last weekend and was the top NCAA Division III runner at the event, crossing the line in 26:03.5, a personal best on any course in his four-year career. The next two finishers for the Knights, James Lynch and Jack Zieber, are also trending in the right direction. Lynch shaved close to 45 seconds off his time from a year ago in Canton, while Zieber was 28.1 seconds faster than any of his three races in Canton from last season.
