The Golden Knights are in the stretch run of the ECAC Regular Season looking to make sure they make the most of the remaining six games, four of which are at home.

Clarkson hosts their Capital District rivals in a weekend they need to make a 6 point push in the standings.  Clarkson sits in 7th place with 19 points.   4th place is not out of reach, but securing home ice for the first round is key as they make the push up the standings.  Union is in 9th place with 17 points and RPI sits in 12th with 10 points.  

The Knights have struggled with RPI in recent years, losing 2 of their last 3 and 5 of the last 7 vs the Engineers.  Clarkson dropped a 5-1 game this season already Houston Fieldhouse, a game in which they out shot the Engineers, but struggled to find the back of the net.  RPI is averaging 3.6 goals against this year, so the Knights will need to continue the shot totals from the last month and keep RPI off the power play.  

Union is a team that has been ranked at one point this season, but their league mark has them 2 points behind the Knights in the standings.  Clarkson won their game vs the Garnet Chargers earlier this year 5-1 behind a 39 save effort from Shane Soderwall. 

Ryan Bottrill continues to lead the Knights in points with 32 on the season and a team lead in assists and shares the lead in goals (9) with Van Steensel.  Bottrill has 3 goals and 3 assists in the last 4 games.
