Liberty League Playoff Scenarios: The Golden Knights will need to win and get some help from either Union College or Bard College when those teams take on St. Lawrence and Ithaca on Saturday. Clarkson has 10 points and trails both the Saints and Bombers by one point, and each of those teams beat the Knights in the regular-season, meaning a tie by Clarkson and two losses by the others will not help the Green and Gold. While Vassar has clinched a playoff spot, the Brewers are seeking a first-round bye. A win or tie will clinch that, but a loss and a Union win would push the Brewers down a spot and force them to play in the Liberty League First Round.

The Series: Clarkson is 3-20-3 all-time against the Brewers, last winning in 2022 (1-0). The two teams met in the Liberty League playoffs in 2024 with Vassar coming away with a 2-1 victory after falling behind 1-0 thanks to a goal from Callie Abel. The Brewers won last year's meeting 3-0.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-6-1, 3-4-1 Liberty League): Although the team already had its senior day, this will be the final home game for three Clarkson field players that have spent four seasons in Potsdam. Riley Irvin leads the team with 1289 minutes this year, while Brooke Everest has played 1144 minutes on defense as well. Callie Abel missed a game this fall, but has still started the other 14 contests and has accounted for three assists.

Key Stats for Vassar (9-1-4, 5-1-2 Liberty League): The Brewers, ranked 17th in the latest national poll, have allowed only four goals all season, including two to William Smith, the team's only loss in 2026. Vassar's offense has scored 40 goals with Alice Crowley producing 16 of her 21 points in conference games. Gianna Panarelli (7-5-19) and Elena Valle (6-4-16) are also regular contributors to the offense. Laura Shea ranks fifth nationally in goals against average (.244) and the team is tied for third in that category (.286).
