A win on Saturday won't clinch a playoff spot for the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team, but it certainly would go a long way towards that goal as the Golden Knights travel to take on Ithaca College.

The Series: The Golden Knights have won just once in 27 meetings against the Bombers, downing Ithaca 2-1 in Ithaca's first Liberty League game against Clarkson in 2017. Though the record may be lopsided, recent games have not been that way, as Ithaca has won four straight by just a single goal, including a double overtime game in the Liberty League Semifinals in 2022.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-5-1, 3-3-1 Liberty League): Scouting the Knights for a singular player to stop must be a tough task. Although Jamie Dahlgard scored twice last Saturday to push her goal total to four, up until that game no player had more than two goals on the season. In fact, when Brooke Butler scored the game-winning goal against RPI, she became the 13th different player to score a goal in 2026 for the Green and Gold, a record for Clarkson. Sixteen different players have at least one point, tying for the most in program history (2016, 2023).

Key Stats for Ithaca (6-3-4, 2-2-2 Liberty League): Prior to the three-goal outburst against RIT on Wednesday, the Bombers had scored just eight goals in their previous nine games, a stretch in which they went 1-3-4. Jayne Bogle leads the team in scoring with nine points, doing most of her work as a distributor with five assists, tied for fourth in the conference. Mia Medearis (3-2-8), Julia Giglar (3-0-6), and Kyra Lynch (3-0-6) have all found the back of the net on multiple occasions. Katrina Varnum has a 0.92 goals against average with 55 saves and an .821 save percentage.
