The Series: The teams have traded victories in the last four meetings over the course of three seasons. In 2023, the Knights won in the regular season, but lost a 2-1 decision in the Liberty League First Round. Clarkson claimed a 3-0 win in 2024 on its home field, and last year the Green and Gold led 1-0 at the half but gave up a goal in the first eight minutes of the second half and then one more in the final five minutes to fall 2-1.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-5-1, 2-3-1 Liberty League): Each member of the Class of 2027 has contributed heavily to the Knights this year, with all three field players having factored into the team's success. Riley Irvin has started all 13 contests and leads the team 1109 minutes, playing full time in every game but the blowout win over SUNY Canton. Callie Abel ranks second on the team in assists with three this year, while Brooke Everest has filled in wherever necessary in her senior year, spending most of the time on defense with 964 minutes.

Key Stats for Rensselaer (4-5-3, 2-1-2): The Engineers started the year without a loss in their first seven games (4-0-3) but have gone 0-3-2 over the last five contests. The team's goal scoring output has stalled in the last six games as RPI has found the back of the net only twice in that stretch. Maddy Kaminski leads the team with 10 points thanks to five goals and Micaela Ross is the team's top distributor with five assists.
