Clarkson finished the winter break on a 5 game win streak (including ex win vs USA) following wins over Niagara (6-2), RIT (3-2), US U18 Team (8-2), Cornell (4-1) and Colgate (5-3).

Clarkson sits in 9th place in the ECAC standings, facing opponents this weekend that are directly above and below them in the standings. This weekend will start two straight weekends on the road for the Knights and a stretch of 14 straight ECAC games.

The success last 5 games is in part to the help that the young players are starting to provide on the scoresheet. Freshman accounted for 21 of the 47 total points in last 4 wins, and 32 of the 47 total points came from the Freshman and Sophomore classes.Â
Owen Van Steensel leads all fi rst year Knights in points with 14 and leads the team in goals with 7. Â
Ryan Bottrill leads the Knights in scoring, will return to his former home rink. Bottrill transferred to Clarkson after two year with the Bears. Â
Clarkson lost twice to Brown last season and swept the season series against Yale. Both games this weekend can be streamed on ESPN+ and heard on B99.3 FM with Bob Ahlfeld.
