Clarkson and St. Lawrence will face off this weekend in a conference home and home series for the 225th & 226th times in program history.
Clarkson enters the weekend 8-1-1 in their last 10, including a 2-2 tie at Dartmouth last weekend. The Knights are in 8th place in the ECAC with 16 points, but 6 points out of 4th place, so these ECAC points this weekend will be crucial as the Knights look to secure a first round bye in the playoffs. St. Lawrence enters at 2-20-2 and in last place in the ECAC. They have lost their last 4 including both last weekend at Harvard and Dartmouth.
Clarkson's success over the last 10 has been in part to it's young core starting to heat up. Three freshman are now in the top ten on the team in scoring and
Owen Van Steensel leads the team in goals with 7 (tied with
Talon Sigurdson) and is 2nd on the team in points with 18.  Sr.
Ryan Bottrill is one of the top assist men in the ECAC and leads the Knights in scoring with 26 points and 20 assists. Â
Shane Soderwall has started the last 14 games in nets for the Knights (excluding the USA exhibition win) and has provided great consistency in the crease. Â
Tonight Clarkson will host SLU at Cheel where they are 30-10-2 all time and then will travel to Appleton on Saturday where they lead the all time series 50-44-5.
Games this weekend can be streamed on ESPN+ with Bob Ahlfeld and Chris Bernard on the call.
