The Series: The Golden Knights have never beaten William Smith, but the last two meetings have been closer than the final score has indicated. Both in 2023 and 2024, the Herons scored three second-half goals after the two teams were even through 45 minutes. Clarkson was outshot just 9-6 last year and was tied 1-1 in corner kicks.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-4-3, 0-2-1 Liberty League): Senior Julia Tylar recorded her 11th career assist last week on Paige Ford's game-tying goal against Union. That is the most by any defensive player in program history. Six of her last eight assists (three this year, five last season) have led to either a game-tying goal or a game-winning goal for the Golden Knights.

Key Stats for William Smith (6-2-2, 2-1-0 Liberty League): Ruth Hotaling leads the Herons in scoring with 15 points, having recorded seven goals on just 15 shots on the frame this year. Hotaling was a key part of William Smith's win against Clarkson, assisting on a pair of goals against the Knights. Julia Bragg (5-0-10) and Julia Accioly (4-2-10) are also significant contributors to the Herons' offense.
