Women's Hockey

Clarkson host BC, then Skate with A Knight after the game

Clarkson will take the ice again today against BC in a 3:00 pm game at Cheel Arena, looking to keep their defensive success rolling.  The Knights have outscored their opponents 11-0 so far this season, playing 180 minutes without allowing a goal.

A 20 save effort from Michelle Pasiechnyk and goals from Cherkowski, Lappan, and Frenette helped the Knights to a 3-0 win over BC at Cheel last night.

Today, Clarkson will host the Eagles again at 3:00 pm, looking to keep the early season success rolling.  Last night the Eagles were playing in their first game, and after withstanding the early pressure from the Knights were able to balance the play out some, but the Knights just would not allow any quality scoring chances and then with goals later in the third period put the game out of reach.

The balance of point production continues to be the key for the Knights, as 8 players ended up on the scoresheet.  Dominique Petrie added an assist to extend her point streak to three games on the season.

Following today's game, Fans will have a chance to take the ice with the team for the annual "Skate with A Knight"
