The Clarkson Golden Knights will look to build off of a solid weekend of play and a 3-0 win over RPI last Saturday.
On Friday, Clarkson out shot, chanced, and for the most part out played Union last night, but fell 3-2. Trey and
Ryan Taylor were the goal scorers for the Knights.
The Knights got 2 goals from
Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup and an empty net short handed goal from
Erik Bargholtz to shut out RPI 3-0 on Saturday.
Tonight, Clarkson will face Colgate, led by the longest tenured coach in the ECAC, Don Vaughn, in his 30th season behind the bench for the Raiders. Colgate boasts a similar record as the Knights at 3-6-1. The Raiders are coming off a 3-2 overtime win over Princeton. They have split with Merrimack this season, a common opponent with the Knights. The Raiders lost 5-0 but then came back to get a 5-3 win over the Warriors.
Tomorrow's game will be the Potsdam Snack Pack collection night. Please bring items that can help support the local Snack Pack program, including healthy snacks for school aged children.
