The Series: When Clarkson faces Oneonta at 12:00 noon on Saturday, it will be the first ever meeting between the two schools in the sport of women's soccer. The Golden Knights are 3-5-1 all-time against Hartwick, but those two programs have not met since 1999.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-0-0): The Golden Knights have started off 4-0 or better five times before, all in the past 20 seasons, most recently in 2016. Senior goalkeeper Elyse Green is off to a strong start with a .900 save percentage and 0.67 goals against average thanks to a pair of shutouts. Her 13th career shutout on Wednesday (1-0 win versus SUNY Potsdam), tied her with Kim Kenline for third all-time in program history. Three different players have recorded the game-winning goal for Clarkson, as the team's offense has proven to be quite diverse with five different players scoring at least one goal.

Key Stats for Oneonta (0-1-0): The Red Dragons dropped a 3-0 decision in their season-opening game, but the loss came to Misericordia, a team that reached the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2018. Oneonta lost three of its top five scorers from a season ago, including the top two. Senior Christina Kornfeld is the team's top returning scorer from a year ago having produced nine points on four goals and an assist in 2018. Grad student Seaver Lipshie (1-5-7) and Sienna Nicolich (2-0-4) also ranked in the top six scorers for the Dragons a year ago. Sophomore goalkeeper Claire Lepper played in 11 games in her first collegiate season, posting a 0.85 goals against average and .773 save percentage.

Key Stats for Hartwick (2-0-0): The Hawks began the season with a pair of 1-0 shutout wins over Keuka and Morrisville State as sophomores Tanner Reed and Julia Collado each scored game-winning goals. Reed ranked second on the team in scoring last year with 10 points on four goals and two assists, while junior Gabrielle Kreppein was the top scorer from 2018 thanks to seven goals and four assists (18 points). Cassandra Robataille has yet to truly be tested this year with just three saves in two games. The senior goalkeeper produced a 0.70 goals against average last season and now has 19 career shutouts.
