Clarkson has seen many standout players come through the program in its 15 years at the Division I level, but none has made as big of a first-year impact offensively as Giguere. The Knights' second-leading scorer, the right wing from Quebec City, QUE as tallied 65 points on 25 goals and 40 assists through 36 games. She nearly doubled the offensive output of the other league rookies in conference play with 40 points on 16 goals and a league-high 24 assists in 22 ECAC Hockey games, ranking second behind Gabel in scoring. She recorded a point in 20 of 22 ECAC games and in 33 of 36 games overall. The second leading freshman scoring in the NCAA, she was named HCA National Rookie of the Month in December and selected once as NCAA 3rd Star of the Week.

The third-leading overall scorer in ECAC Hockey and fifth in league, Pejzlova centers one of the top lines in college hockey. The Pardubice, Czech Republic native recorded 11 goals and 15 assists in league play and has tallied 47 points (22-25) through 36 games overall.  Pejzlova tied for first in overall power-play goals and tied for third in overall power-play points (7-5-12).

Shelton plays a leading role in Clarkson's league-leading defense. She ranks fifth in overall scoring among ECAC Hockey defenders and seventh in the league with 24 overall points (5-19) and 16 (2-14) in conference action.

Desrosiers has guided Clarkson to within one victory of the program's record for wins (32), set by last year's national Championship team. The Knights claimed their fourth ECAC Hockey regular-season championship in five years, sharing the 2017-18 title with Colgate, posting a 19-3 conference mark. Ranked No.2 in the national polls, the Green and Gold own a 31-4-1 overall record.
