FRESHMAN YEAR (2017-18)—As a three-time National Champion, Clarkson has seen plenty of talented players come through the program in its 15-year of existence, but none of them had made such an immediate impact for the Golden Knights as Elizabeth Giguere … A Second-Team All-American and ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year, nearly doubling the point total of all the other conference freshmen ... Shattered the Clarkson freshman scoring marks with 71 points on 27 goals and was the nation's second-leading playmaker with 44 assists ... Posted a +53 plus/minus, tallied five power-play goals and six game-winners ... Her biggest goal of the season was her last ... Named to the 2018 Frozen Four All-Tournament Team, scored the deciding goal at 7:55 of overtime in the 2-1 NCAA Championship game victory over Colgate (3/18) … Posted at least one point in each of the seven playoff games, finishing with 11 postseason points (3-8) ... Recorded at least one point in 38 of the 41 games, including 21 multiple-point games ...
