This off season the Clarkson University Women's Hockey program will highlight former and current Golden Knights each week, making sure that fans, friends of the program, alumni, families, and all other Golden Knight Women's Hockey supporters are kept in the know! 

This week we caught up with former Golden Knight, Ella Matteucci '15

Ella was the ultimate teammate, who played a key role as a defenseman on Clarkson's stingy blueline and up front as a tenacious forward on the Knights' checking lines, helping the Green and Gold to three NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2014 National Championship. The Fruitvale, BC native never missed a game for the Golden Knights playing in a school-record 154 contests. She tallied 21 points on seven goals and 14 assists in her career and finished with a +31 plus/minus rating.
