Chudoba Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week

Freshman Chase Chudoba of the Clarkson University Volleyball team was a difficult assignment for the opposition this past week and she was rewarded for her performance on Monday when she was picked as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week.

Chudoba hit .383 over the course of three matches, recording 2.90 kills per set to go along with 1.0 digs, 0.80 blocks, and 0.60 aces per set. Her best performance of the weekend came against Oswego State as she had 13 kills with no errors on 25 attempts in a four-set win.

Overall, Chudoba is averaging 2.21 kills, 0.46 aces, 0.85 digs, and 0.87 blocks per set through the first 11 matches of the 2026 season. She ranks 11th in the conference with a .290 hitting percentage, is 11th in points per set (3.27 pps), and is sixth in the conference in blocks per set (0.87 bps). Her 13 solo blocks lead the team, and that figure is four more than any Clarkson player registered during the 2025 season.
