Bodie Smith Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week

Freshman Bodie Smith of the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team has been selected as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week for the second time in 2026 after another excellent two-game stretch the past seven days.

Smith extended his goal-scoring streak to three straight games as he tallied the only goal for the Golden Knights in a 1-1 tie against Hamilton last Wednesday and then also recorded a goal in a 4-2 win over University of Rochester on Saturday afternoon. Smith now has 11 points on the year thanks to five goals and one assist, placing his in a tie for second in the conference in goals scored and putting him third in total points. His 11 points are the most by a Clarkson first-year player since the 2012 season.
