The Series: The Knights are 18-13 all-time against Skidmore, including an 11-7 win last year in Saratoga Springs where Robert Fox posted three assists, four groundballs, and two caused turnovers. The last time the two teams met in Potsdam, Skidmore collected an overtime win against the Green and Gold.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-3, 1-2 Liberty League): Fox needs seven more points to become the latest Golden Knight to reach the 100-point mark for his career. Fox has done it more through finding teammates than scoring himself, already ranking in a tie for 17th all-time in assists with 56. With four regular season games remaining, he has an outside chance of getting to 70, a figure reached by only nine previous Clarkson players. At the other end of the field, Jack Garvey has matched his total of 27 caused turnovers from a year ago, leading the Liberty League in that category. Garvey is the only player not named Matt Szwagulinski to have 27 or more caused turnovers in a season for the Knights in the past two decades.

Key Stats for Skidmore (9-2, 2-1 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds are solid all the way around and have been receiving votes in the national polls all year and are currently up to 17th nationally according to the latest USILA Coaches Poll. Skidmore is led by Michael Aiello on offense, as he is tied for the team lead in goals (24) and is at the top of the Liberty League boards in assists per game (2.50). He is also second in the conference in points per game (4.90). Skidmore has plenty of help in terms of goal scorers with Joseph Killcommons (24), David Koffler (20), and Caleb Lawson (18). On defense Michael Dearborn and Ethan Dicturel are third and fourth, respectively, in the Liberty League in caused turnovers per game, while Marc Gadbois is third with an 8.93 goals against average.
