Senior goalkeeper Griffin Emerson of the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team has been named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American Honorable Mention after a standout season in the crease for the Golden Knights in 2026.

Emerson led the Liberty League in goals against average (9.18), save percentage (.597) and saves per game (13.21), with his saves per game figure jumping by more than two when considering only conference foes (15.43). He also had three of the top four save totals in the Liberty League in 2026, including 23 against RPI, the team's penultimate game of the year. His goals against average ranked 39th in NCAA Division III this spring while his save percentage was 16th nationally. Emerson's save percentage of .597 was the highest by a Clarkson starter since Ryan Cole posted the same figure in 2013.

Emerson is just the fifth goalkeeper in Clarkson Men's Lacrosse history to earn All-American honors, joining Mike Motkoski (1990), Chris Macrides (1992), Joe Zebrowski (2003-2004), and Greg Lamb (2008). He is Clarkson's 32nd different player to earn All-American honors and the 39th selection in program history.
