The Meet: An 36-event meet (men's and women's combined), the day will begin with a 200 medley relay and will be followed with the 800 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, and 50 freestyle. There will be a break in the pool as the teams go to the deep end for the women's 1-meter dive and men's 3-meter before resuming with the 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 400 freestyle, and 100 butterfly. The women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter will then take place just prior to the 200 individual medley and 200 freestyle relay.

The History: The teams rarely met outside of the UNYSCSA or Liberty League meets prior to 2020, but during the COVID shortened season of 2020-21, the two teams competed in a virtual meet. Since then, they have traded locations with Clarkson winning both sides in 2021-22 and then Skidmore swept the next three. Last year, the programs split, with Clarkson's men taking a win at 172.50-115.50 and the Skidmore women winning at 219-76.

The Women: Dani McDonald started off her senior campaign with a pair of individual wins in the 50 butterfly and 100 butterfly in a tri-meet with Union and St. Lawrence while Devon Sedlack claimed the top spot in both the 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive. A year ago, Natasha Hurff was the runner-up in two events against Skidmore, placing second in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle.

The Men: Both Evan Paneras and Mason Cartier began the fall of 2026 with two wins in shorter specialty races, Paneras taking first in the 50 butterfly and 100 butterfly and Cartier doing likewise in the 50 backstroke and 100 backstroke. Cartier won both backstroke events against Skidmore last season while Paneras had the top time in the 100 butterfly. Casey Everett has won three of his four starts over the last two years against the Thoroughbreds, including two a year ago in the 500 freestyle and 1000 freestyle.
