Saratoga Springs, NY – Both junior Tyler Yacawych and freshman Bryce Terborgh of the Clarkson University Golf team shot even-par on Sunday as the Golden Knights closed out the 54-hole, three-round Skidmore Invitational, held at the par-72, 7145-yard Saratoga Spa State Park Golf Course.

The Golden Knights moved up one spot in the standings after Saturday's results, finishing the tournament in fourth place among 21 teams with a score of 882 strokes overall, thanks to their 294 on Sunday. New York University won the three-round invitational with a score of 853, followed by Middlebury (874), Amherst (875), Clarkson (882) and Skidmore (883) to round out the top five in the deep field. The tournament closes out Clarkson's schedule for the fall and the team will return to play in late-March 2027.

Yacawych shot 72 on Sunday, scoring 36 on both the front and back nine with a birdie on the third hole as well as the 13th. He finished the tournament in a tie for 26th overall among 112 golfers, closing out his three rounds with a score of 220, four-over par.

Tying with Yacawych in the overall standings was Tyler Burchett, who shot 76 on Sunday, as he was also plus-four for the day and the three-round tournament. He had a 37 on the front and 39 on the back without the benefit of a birdie, but did score an eagle on the third hole.

One shot behind Yacawych and Burchett was Luke Weisiger, who finished tied for 33nd overall at 221 strokes. Like Burchett, he shot 76 on Sunday only with three birdies. Eric Spoth ended up in a tie for 41st in the tournament after his 74 in the third round gave him 225 strokes for 54 holes. He posted one birdie on the back nine for his score. After having his score dropped twice on the first day, Terborgh closed out the tournament with an even-par 72 thanks to a pair of birdies on par-fives. He shaved seven strokes off his rounds from Saturday and ended up with a total score of 230, putting him in a tie for 65th overall.
