Two giant slalom races await the Clarkson University Alpine Ski team this weekend as the Golden Knights head to West Mountain for their fourth set of regular-season races on Saturday and Sunday.

Live Results

The Men: It has been a strong start for the Golden Knights this year as four of the team members are currently in the top 12 of the MacConnell Division standings. Freshman Gavin Ebert enjoyed his best finish of the season last Saturday, taking second among conference skiers, and helping him rise to fourth in the division standings with 266 points. After not finishing his first race of the year, Ebert has placed in the top five in four out of five races. Similarly, sophomore Edouard Brochu, who is currently eighth in the Mac Division, has finished in the top 10 on five occasions. Jackson Knobloch (10th) and Aleksa Lalic (12th) will also be heading to West Mountain. Clarkson's other two team time qualifiers are Reed Martin (19th) and James Tucker (23rd). A year ago at West Mountain, Martin led the team on both days, finishing 32nd and 14th, respectively, in the FIS field, as skiers generally struggled to make it down the course twice each day.

The Women: Clarkson women have won both of the giant slalom races in the MacConnell Division in 2026, with Elyse Donaghue taking the top spot the opening weekend and Ariana Welter winning the giant slalom this past weekend at Whiteface Mountain. Welter is 10th overall in the Mac Division standings and Donaghue currently sits in 12th place. Hannah Goetz is actually Clarkson's top performer overall in 2026, having produced enough points to place eighth, including a fourth-place finish in the giant slalom and a seventh-place showing in the slalom this past weekend. Clarkson's women are currently fourth in the Mac Division standings as a team with 20 points, though it is a tight race at the top with Babson in second (17) and UConn in third (18).
