The Series: The Golden Knights have winning records against three of the four teams they face this weekend. The Knights are on the short end of the long series against Plattsburgh State (32-40) but have won 13 straight matches dating back to 2007. Against St. John Fisher, the Knights hold a slim 10-9 margin, but the Cardinals won a year ago. Versus Keuka, Clarkson is 13-9, winning six consecutive sweeps. Middlebury trails against the Knights in eight meetings, but the Panthers have won three consecutive matches by a score of 3-1.

Key Stats for Clarkson (1-2): The Knights may have found another solid outside hitter in Conley Burns, as the first-year collegian was selected Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Tuesday thanks to 3.08 kills per set and a .231 hitting percentage on the opening weekend. Likewise, the Knights long run of standout liberos continues, as Olivia Baxter posted 6.00 digs per set in Ohio.

Key Stats for Plattsburgh State (1-2): The Cardinals are in for the long haul in every match, as each one of their first three games this year went the full five sets. Liya Girma leads with 2.60 kills and 0.47 aces per set. Strong at the net, Lindsay Peterson is averaging 0.86 blocks per set in limited time, while Darby Collyear (0.67) and Katie Salphine (0.60) are one-two in total blocks so far.

Key Stats for St. John Fisher (2-1): If the Cardinals can rein in the mistakes from the service line, it will be another solid year in Rochester. So far, St. John Fisher has 25 aces, but 34 service errors in three matches, giving away a few too many points so far. Kaylene Noble leads the team with 3.58 kills per set on an impressive .278 hitting percentage.

Key Stats for Keuka (1-3): Gabby Rodriguez has been busy in the back row for the Wolves, averaging 5.13 digs per set. Rosslan Force averages 0.56 blocks per set, but six of her nine total blocks have been solo efforts up front. Alessandra Castaneda leads the team with 3.06 kills per set and Nina Scott isn't far behind at 2.63 kills per set.

Key Stats for Middlebury (1-0): The Panthers cruised to an easy opening win over Castleton, recording a .364 hitting percentage along the way. Middlebury was one match away from the final bracket of the NCAA Tournament a year ago, but ran into the buzzsaw that currently is three-time defending champion Juniata in the NCAA Regional Finals.
