The Field: Clarkson was the lone team to need a deciding game three in its crossover series as two of the teams swept on Friday and host Ithaca required an extra day to finish off its sweep thanks to some rain in the latter innings of game two. The Knights only faced Ithaca among teams in the final four.

Key Stats for #3 Clarkson (18-13, 10-8 Liberty League): While the Golden Knights are in the middle of the pack in the conference for team batting average (.290), Clarkson has helped itself by putting pressure on opposing defenses with limited strikeouts. Clarkson has the lowest strikeout ratio in the conference at 17.86%, nearly 1.5% lower than any other team. The Green and Gold's rate in league play is even better at only 16.51%. Senior Cam Jerrett and sophomore Beau Vardion are battling it out for the team's batting leader, as Jerrett is at .388 and Vardion is hitting at a .383 clip.

Key Stats for #1 Ithaca (24-13, 16-5 Liberty League): When the Knights and Bombers faced one another at the end of March, the Bombers' offense was clicking, having scored 67 runs in its previous four games. Although Ithaca has slowed down since, the team has still topped 10 runs on six occasions in the past 13 games. Ethan Fantel leads the team at .390//.543/.610, but it is Collin Feeney and Andrew McDermott with the surprising numbers. Feeney has stolen 30 bases in 34 tries, nearly a steal per game, while McDermott has walked 34 times to help him cross the plate 42 times.

Key Stats for #2 Skidmore (20-15-2, 12-6 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds don't have many holes in the lineup, as every player with at least 75 at bats this year is hitting .290 or better. Ewan Donald is batting .431 in 115 plate appearances as the team's top average, but it is Sam Kornet who has likely mashed his way to an all-conference spot. Kornet is hitting .345/.463/.676 with 23 extra-base hits, including 12 home runs, to help drive in 42 runs. Pitchers Quinn Hocom and Chase Siegel have pitched 106.2 innings combined, striking out 118 hitters all together.

Key Stats for #4 Rensselaer (25-13, 12-6 Liberty League): The Engineers have two boppers in the lineup in the way of Ian Oehlschlaeger and Ayush Krishnappa. Oehlschlaeger leads the team with a .451/.562/.759 slash line, including eight home runs and 46 RBI as well as 19 stolen bases in 20 tries. Krishnappa isn't far behind at .441/.485/.748 with seven bombs and 53 RBI. The Engineers are also busy on the base paths with 99 steals in 110 tries, triple their opponents' output (31-for-52). RPI averages a little over nine runs per game.
