Clarkson's Harris Named PGCBL Player of the Week

The collegiate summer league seasons are beginning to wind down, but Clarkson University Baseball rising junior David Harris is heating up in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League as he was chosen the West Division's Player of the Week (July 13th-19th).

Harris is currently on an 11-game hitting streak for the Niagara Falls Americans and has a .463 batting average thus far in the summer of 2026. This past week he hit .471 with three extra-base hits, five runs scored and four runs batted in. 

In his two seasons playing 49 games with the Clarkson Baseball team, Harris has produced a .273 average with 42 hits in 154 at bats. This past spring, he led the team with 22 runs batted in.
