Jerrett Chosen Liberty League Performer of the Week for Second Time

A couple weeks between games did little to cool off the bat of senior Cam Jerrett of the Clarkson University Baseball team, as the Golden Knights infielder was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week on Monday when the conference announced its weekly award winners.

In five games, Jerrett batted .667/.773/.933 over the course of 22 plate appearances, going 10-for-15 at the dish while also reaching seven more times via walk or hit by pitch. He scored eight times in the five contests and also drove in four runs, including a home run.

For the season, Jerrett is hitting an otherworldly .679/.763/.964 in nine games, going 19-for-28 at the plate with five doubles and a home run, as well as 10 runs scored and 11 more driven in. Without Jerrett, the team's batting average through nine games would fall from .318 to .280.
