CU Men's Lacrosse Preview - vs. Skidmore College (3/30)

It's back to Liberty League play on Saturday for the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team as the Golden Knights will host Skidmore College at Hantz Field, the first game of a doubleheader for Clarkson Men's and Women's Lacrosse.

The Series: The Golden Knights are 17-12 all-time against Skidmore, but had a seven-game win streak snapped a year ago in a 10-9 loss in Saratoga Springs. Charlie McFadden helped Skidmore secure the win with a goal in the final seconds after Clarkson made a furious comeback from a 6-2 halftime deficit.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-4, 0-1 Liberty League): Graduate student Sebastian Geiger leads the team with 30 points and ranks fourth in the conference in goals per game at 2.89 gpg (26 total). After a five-point game on Wednesday, Matt Reilly has now accumulated 27 points this season (17-10-27) while Andrew Kearney has also produced steady numbers with 16 goals and four assists for a total of 20 points. Gonsalves is sixth in the conference in goals per game (2.70 gpg) and points per game (4.20 ppg) thanks to a 27-15-42 line. McFadden isn't far behind with 32 points (23-9-32).
