The Knights put 40 shots on net and outlasted the Crimson of Harvard 4-3 in Cambridge to run their record to 10-5-2 and a perfect 6-0 on the road this season.

The opening 20 minutes went scoreless, but saw Clarkson attempt 19 shots to Harvard's 18, but the Crimson got more to the net as registered shots 10-9. The Golden Knights had a power play attempt mid way through the period but were unable to convert.

Early in the second period, Harvard was able to convert a turn over into a goal when Casey Severo snuck a shot over the shoulder of Langenegger to put the Crimson up 1-0. Clarkson answered back 3 minutes later when
Ayrton Martino scored his 5th of the season.Â
Kaelan Taylor and
Ellis Rickwood assisted on Martino's goal.Â

Martino scored again at 8:11 to put the Knights up 2-1, Rickwood assisted along with
Ryan Bottrill. The Knights took a 3-1 lead into the intermission on
Talon Sigurdson's 4th goal of the season.

In the third period, Harvard pulled to within a goal at 9:23 on Marek Hejduk's goal. Then with a wild final 2 minutes of play, the Crimson pulled their goalie for the extra attacker which gave the Knights the chance to extend the lead when
Luka Sukovic redirected the clear into the empty net. With still over a minute left, Harvard pulled their goalie again and were able to score with 8.2 seconds left on the clock. The final faceoff was won into the Harvard zone and the Crimson iced the puck trying to fly the zone. Â

Ethan Langenegger, appearing in his 100th collegiate game, made 25 saves for his 42nd career win. Clarkson was 0-2 on the power play and held the Crimson scoreless on 3 chances.Â
