Donaghue Posts Top Time for Clarkson Alpine in New Hampshire

Andover, NH – An abbreviated schedule occurred on Saturday due to the weather for the Clarkson University Alpine Ski team, as the Golden Knights waited out the rain to ski the slalom at the Proctor Ski Area, hosted by Babson College.

Three races occurred on Friday in advance of the tougher conditions for Saturday, leaving just the Golden Knights' women to compete in Saturday's FIS race. Elyse Donaghue was the top performer for the Knights, taking 47th in the field of 124 skiers with a two-run time of 1:37.04, finishing her first trip in 47.34 and the second in 49.70. Kyla Butler was next for Clarkson, taking 78th in 1:48.18, and Kyle Brino took 82nd in 1:50.98 to finish Clarkson's scoring trio. Isabella Pelkey was also 91st in 2:06.40, while Hannah Goetz did not finish her first run.
