Everest and Makowski Earn Liberty League Rookie of the Week Honors

A pair of first-year student-athletes at Clarkson University earned Liberty League Weekly honors on Tuesday, as Brooke Everest of the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team and Ryan Makowski of the Clarkson University Golf team were each chosen as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week in their respective sports.

Everest scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over DeSales on Friday afternoon, picking up the score against a double-team near the top of the box. Overall, she played just under 90 minutes of time on the pitch in a pair of shutout victories for the Golden Knights.

Makowski was the top freshman in the field at the St. Lawrence Invitational this weekend, shooting 151 (78-73) to tie for fourth out of 54 golfers. On Sunday, he chipped in a pair of shots from off the green to finish one-over par for the day.
