Makowski Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week

For the second time this fall, freshman Ryan Makowski of the Clarkson University golf team has been selected as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week.

Makowski finished third out of 35 golfers at the Castleton Invitational, as he shot 156 for the weekend, scoring 77 on day one of the tournament and 79 on day two of the event at the Rutland Country Club.

Makowski ranks second on the team in scoring average, as he is shooting 77.63 per 18 holes this year. In eight competitive rounds, Makowski has been sub-80 in seven of the eight outings.
