Ditzel Named Clarkson Golf Assistant Coach

Casey Ditzel has been named the assistant coach for the Clarkson University Golf team for the 2023-24 season.

Ditzel, a graduate of Clarkson this past May with a degree in Communication, Media, & Design, was a standout for the Golden Knights for four seasons. Over the course of 46 career rounds, Ditzel averaged 78.39 strokes per 18 holes, leading the team in scoring average as both a junior (77.67) and senior (78.56). In his abbreviated freshman season, he averaged just over 80, and has been below 79 ever since, including 30 sub-80 rounds among his 46 competitive rounds.

In addition to excelling on the golf course, Ditzel is well known across campus as one of the announcers for Clarkson Hockey broadcasts, having served as play-by-play and a color analyst for ESPN+ broadcasts over the past few years.

Ditzel will be continuing his education at Clarkson, as he seeks his MBA.
