For the second straight season the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team heads into conference play with an unbeaten record, and the Golden Knights look to keep their winning streak alive when the team takes on Ithaca College in the Liberty League opener Saturday afternoon.

The Series: The Bombers and Knights last two games have been tight ones, but Ithaca has come away with a win both times by a single goal (11-10, 2022; 12-11, 2021). Clarkson has lost all five meetings since Ithaca joined the Liberty League and the team's last win came in 1999, though the two teams have met just six times in the 21st century.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-0, 0-0 Liberty League): Jacob Mattice leads the conference with a 6.55 goals against average and is fourth in the league in save percentage at .568 over the course of 375 minutes in the crease. All three of Clarkson's starting defenders have accumulated at least 10 caused turnovers, with Matt Szwagulinski ranking third in the league (2.00 ctpg) and Patrick Sanna and Mason Volley each in the top 15 in the Liberty League. Grad student Bryan Penney is one point shy of becoming the 30th member of Clarkson's 100-point club.

Jake Erickson is the top assist man in the league with 3.00 apg (11-12-23).
