Palmatier Chosen Liberty League Performer of the Week

Sophomore Andrew Palmatier of the Clarkson University Golf team had a steady week in three rounds and was chosen as the Liberty League Performer of the Week when the conference's weekly awards were announced on Monday afternoon.

Palmatier shot 78 at the SUNY Canton Kangaroos Invitational, tying for seventh among 51 golfers for the one-day event, and then he placed in a tie for 12th among 63 golfers at the Oswego Fall Golf Invitational thanks to a 36-hole effort, shooting 77 on the first day and 78 on the second day. For the week's 54 holes, he six birdies, knocking in two on Tuesday, three on Saturday, and then one more on Sunday.
