Senior Olivia Zoeller of the Clarkson University Softball team added to her list of awards as she was chosen for CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 honors when the organization announced its selections on Thursday afternoon.

Zoeller, who sports a 3.63 grade-point average over the course of seven semesters while majoring in Electrical Engineering, will now move on to the national ballot, which will be announced in the coming weeks. She is just the second softball student-athlete from Clarkson to earn CoSIDA honors, joining Katie Pelton who gained the award in 2015 and 2016.

Clarkson All-Time CoSIDA Academic All-District/All-Americans

Zoeller was picked as the Liberty League Co-Pitcher of the Year and a Liberty League First-Team All-Star earlier this week, adding to her stockpile of awards from the conference since she joined Clarkson's Softball program. She is a three-time conference all-star, and three-time Liberty League award winner, earning Pitcher of the Year honors in 2021 and Co-Rookie of the Year honors back in 2019.

Zoeller ranks among the national leaders in hits per seven, strikeouts per seven, strikeout-to-walk ratio, and earned run average, leading the Liberty League in ERA (1.18), strikeouts (140), and opponents' batting average (.164). Despite missing nearly a full season in 2020, she set the program record for strikeouts (461) in 350.1 innings with a career ERA of 1.50 to go along with nine career shutouts and a 36-19 record.
