Former Golden Knight Downhiller finds a new way to get down the mountain

Since Clarkson made the move to the hill campus, students have been using anything they can find to sled down the hill out in front of Woodstock Lodge.  Sleds, lunch trays, suitcases, what ever can make you go faster.  For a former Golden Knight Skier, he may have found the ultimate thrill on how to get down a mountain at speeds that push the limits of human capacity.  

Austin Florian, a member of the Clarkson Alpine ski team from 2013 to 2016, has now become a top member of the USA Skeleton team on the World Cup Circuit.  Last season Austin finished in the following Men's Skeleton World Cup:

Team USA will start up Feb. 17 - 24, 2021 with the Park City 2021-2022 Team Trials Unofficial Training.  The team will move to Lake Placid for much of March to continue to train and race.  Check out ORDA's website for event times and results
