After suffering defeat for the first time over the weekend, the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team looks to get back on track on Tuesday when the Golden Knights host Oswego State at Hantz Field.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: Clarkson is 9-1 all-time against the Lakers, including narrow wins in 2013 (13-12) and 2014 (11-9). Those two games are the only occurrences where the two teams have met in the past decade and a half, with five of the 10 all-time meetings occurring prior to 1990.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-1): Seniors Conor Bartlett and Pierce Currie have each scored six goals so far this year, no surprise considering the duo ranked first and second on the team in scoring a year ago. Junior Jay Considine has stepped up on offense and is tied for second in offensive production with Currie, having scored six goals and three assists in three contests. Clarkson's defense has been busy as Liam St. Croix (five caused turnovers), Trevor Borchardt (four) and Andrew Schroeder (four) have already produced excellent numbers in support of goalkeeper Kevin Dyckman. The junior goalie has posted a 9.82 goals against average and .518 save percentage with 29 saves in three contests.

Key Stats for Oswego State (3-0): The Lakers are unbeaten thus far, and the team is capable in close games with a pair of one-goal victories. Twelve different players have scored at least once this year, an impressive feat considering the team has produced just 34 goals thus far. Four players have found the net five times or more, including Kyle Bacon, who leads the team with seven goals. Tim Schof actually leads the team in scoring with 10 points thanks to eight assists. Goalkeeper Kevin O'Donnell has solid numbers with an 8.40 goals against average and a .650 save percentage with 39 stops overall.
