Men's Hockey

Knights head to Mercyhurst for first time ever

Clarkson has spent a lot of time on Interstate 90 this week.

After traveling to Niagara then back to Potsdam, the Knights picked up games when COVID forced a cancellation in Atlantic Hockey.  The Knights travel to ERIE, PA to face Mercyhurst of Atlantic Hockey.  Face off will be at 5:00 pm and the game can be heard on 99.3 FM with Mike Vaillancourt.

The Golden Knights last outing was a disappointing loss to Niagara.  The Knights never seemed to be able to gain the momentum as Niagara brought pressure all game long.  The lone Knights goal was an all freshman effort as Jordan Power netted his first of his college career with an assist from Noah Beck and Alex Campbell.  These are the first games Clarkson has played at Mercyhurst.  The Knights are 6-1 all time against the Lakers.

GAME NOTES FOR CLARKSON AT MERCYHURST

The Knights will return home for a non conference matchup with Colgate on Dec. 23rd at 4:00 pm.  With still no fans allowed at games, a fan cut out in the stands is a fun way to support your Knights.  Link to order:  Clarkson Fan Cutouts
