Trio of Clarkson Lacrosse Players Named Liberty League All-Stars

Three upperclassmen of the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team earned Liberty League All-Star honors on Tuesday as senior Marcus Lavarnway and juniors Liam St. Croix and Conor Bartlett were tabbed for excellence by the conference's coaches.

Lavarnway and St. Croix gained Liberty League Second-Team All-Star status while Bartlett was chosen as a Liberty League Honorable Mention All-Star.

Lavarnway was picked as a conference all-star for the first time in his collegiate career, playing well in the midfield. He produced 27 points, including career-highs in both goals (15) and assists (12). His numbers in league were solid as well, scoring 13 points in the eight conference contests with six goals and seven assists.

St. Croix, a defenseman, was chosen as a Liberty League All-Star for the third time in his collegiate career, including his second straight year on the second team. St. Croix ranked among the team leaders in both groundballs (39) and caused turnovers (14). He enjoyed three games where he had multiple groundballs and caused turnovers, with two of those games coming in league contests.

Bartlett led the team in points (52) for the second straight year and was named a conference all-star for the second year in a row. The junior attackman ranked second on the team in goals (31) and was the top performer in assists (21), surpassing the 100-point mark in his career early in the campaign. Overall, Bartlett now has 142 points to rank him 14th all-time at Clarkson, while his 76 goals are 16th all-time and his 66 assists are the eighth-highest figure in program history.
