Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: In 25 previous games, Clarkson has outscored Skidmore by a grand total of just 13 goals (274-261), winning 14 times against 11 defeats. The Golden Knights have won four straight against the Thoroughbreds, including a narrow 6-5 victory in 2018.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-4, 0-2 Liberty League): Senior Marcus Lavarnway notched five goals and two assists for seven points last week, pushing his season total to 17 points (10-7-17), just one short of his collegiate high set last year in 15 contests. Lavarnway is one of seven different players to have recorded double digits in goals scored this year with three of those players have missed at least two games. Conor Bartlett headlines the group with 29 points and Evan Burgett is second with 22 points to go along with 21 groundballs. Bartlett notched five points against the Thoroughbreds in Clarkson's 19-13 win in the 2017 season and Lavarnway picked up two goals in the Knights' 6-5 victory against Skidmore last year.

Key Stats for Skidmore (3-6, 0-3 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds' biggest issue in 2019 has been on faceoffs, as Skidmore has struggled in the early battles for possession. Skidmore owns a .292 winning percentage on faceoffs in nine games overall, and is a bit worse in league play at .284 through three conference contests. Eric Megnia leads the team on offense with 23 points while Will Lukas has 10 points in league games and a season total of 21 points. Lukas was a key contributor for The Thoroughbreds in 2017, scoring five points with a goal and four assists. Alex Miller produces all around the field with 20 points, 29 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers. Logan Hart, Ben Glidden and Nicholas DeBlasio have combined for 82 groundballs and 32 caused turnovers.
