Sauve Honored as ECAC Hockey's December Goaltender of the Month

In her first season of ECAC Hockey play, Kassidy Sauve is certainly making her mark in the conference, and closed out a highly successful first half by being honored as the league's Goaltender of the Month for December.

A graduate transfer from Ohio State, Sauve led all ECAC Hockey goaltenders, who played in more than one game for the month, in save percentage (.963). The Whitby, Ont. native earned ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week honors for the third time on December 10 after backstopping Clarkson to a weekend sweep of St. Lawrence in the final games before the break, making 47 saves on 48 shots. She posted her third shutout of the year with 21 saves in the 4-0 win at St. Lawrence on December 7.
